Generative AI and Copyrights in the Cinema/Series Industry Workshop

With the support of the Directorate General for Copyright of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Türkiye and under the coordination of Başkent University YAKEM, the Generative AI and Copyrights in the Cinema Industry Workshop was held on 7 May 2024.

It was held with the invited participation of representatives from many professional associations and public institutions, academicians and professionals in the relevant field.

At the event, the current situation and future potential of Türkiye's cinema/series industry in artificial intelligence and copyrights were discussed. In order to contribute to policy development studies on this subject, stakeholders' opinions, expectations and demands were compiled.
